Description
From Introduction:
The Man-At-Arms is a mounted mercenary, a knight for hire. Throughout the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, these were the noble equivalent of the professional infantry which rulers hired when marching to war. Unlike a knight, the Man-At-Arms does not follow a code of honor, save for that of the contract and the purse. Some Men-At-Arms might prove loyal to a single employer, following a king or other patron with devotion. Still, even these men of virtue receive coin for their troubles.
