The Matrix D6 Classic version is an adaptation of the movie trilogy of The Matrix into a role-playing game based directly upon West End Games' D6 system. Action resolution, etc., is based upon the D6 system nearly without modification. Characters are based on Templates and have Attributes and Skills. Characters also have Chi. Characters have two distinct components--a "real world" character and a "Matrix" character that may have widely divergent Attributes and Skills. Combat is complex and offers a wide variety of special situations, modifiers, and maneuvers--both in and out of The Matrix.
