A Short Urban Adventure for 4th Level Characters

The Mottled Donkey is a short adventure for 4th-level characters.
As written, it takes place in the city of Baldur’s Gate, on the Sword Coast of Faerûn, but none of the setting-specific details are important to the adventure. It’s easy to adapt this adventure to a different city in the Forgotten Realms – or any other setting – by changing some names and the map the PCs may discover at the end.
The adventure works best in a city large enough to have at least one temple and citizens ranging from poor to very wealthy.

The adventure is distributed as a pair of two PDF files. One 20 page document presents the complete adventure text. One 13 page document presents all of the supporting maps (full color, black and white, keyed, and unkeyed; suitable for print-and-play use, if desired).
