The Mystery of the Red Death is an intrigue-centered murder-mystery adventure for a party of four to six PCs of about 3-4th level. Taking place in the setting-agnostic location of Newfort, the adventure is intended to cover two to three game sessions totaling 6-10 hours of play, with an optional sidequest that extends the main adventure by about an hour. At 38 pages, the adventure includes a fully fleshed out high-society dinner party, fully detailed profiles of the victim and five suspected murderers, a nonlinear investigation primarily intended to be player-driven, and a climactic finale with options to represent the players success or failure.
