Little did those that lived in the city of Narfell realise, but their peaceful and prosperous settlement was sitting above the aG'nahel region of the Infernal plane. When the aG'nahel gate opened, it punched an opening into the material plane, right in the middle of Narfell. The city was soon abandoned after its greatest heroes and scholars failed to close the gate and defeat the demons that poured from it!
