The Oath of Mortality Paladin

The Oath of Mortality is a commitment to protect the sanctity of death. Death brings meaning to life and is necessary for the world to evolve and grow. Through death, we value what we have and are motivated to a path of righteousness. They seek to quell any notion of undeath or a desire for immortality and instead take great refuge in the peace and solemnity of accepting an end. Many of these paladins follow the teachings of Kelemvor and see the balance and fairness that comes from process entering into the afterlife. To these paladins – sometimes called reapers or angels of death – death is a gift and they are merely here to deliver it.
