The Old Ford

From the introduction:

This short adventure brings your party to the site of an old river crossing. In older, more heroic times, a stone bridge was standing here. This bridge was the site of a famous last stand of the hero Lepedus and his 30 shield-brothers, against an orcish horde, hundreds of years ago. Today a hermit lives there, an old woman that tends what is left of the Hero's Memorial. It is widely known, that the sword of Lepedus was magically stuck in a stone after his death, and nobody has managed to pull it out. In fact, some of the people that tried have been struck dead. Plenty of rumors surround the sword(feel free to make your own).
