From publisher blurb:
Old Man Gribble first planted up the pumpkin patch when he was just Farmer Gribble. As the years passed, and his children grew, he carefully tended the patch. Eventually he became Old Man Gribble, and he still tended the patch alone. One day though he died whilst tending the patch, falling into the vines. They slowly covered him, drawing him down into the earth. Over time the patch grew, and grew, slowly tearing down the cottage, and still growing some more. Some say the ghost of Old Man Gribble still haunts the patch, carefully tending the pumpkins.
