The Original Game of Alice in Wonderland

This is a trick-taking game comprising 40 cards: 28 pool cards, and 12 with illustrations (patterned on those of Sir John Tenniel) depicting characters including Alice, the Gryphon, the Queen of Hearts, the White Rabbit, the Hatter, the Duchess, and more.
Each player has 24 counters and must contribute 4 to the pool. The game involves dealing out all cards and revealing each player's top card one by one. Different characters provide different rewards and penalties relating to the pool. Revealing certain characters before others can also influence the outcome of the game.

The rule card states that the game was printed with permission of Macmillan & Co., the publisher of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
