From publisher blurb:
For a setting / campaign this big, one Small Bite is not enough! It’s time to continue The Lost City of Ballogfar, so, here is Part II. This place is big! How big? How about a dungeon style adventure that is 15 miles by 8 miles.
What fills that enormous amount of space? Well, it is a massive ruin that has been taken over by the wild plants and animals of the region, including many that are not only wild, but are also fantastical - dragons, drakes, wyrms, and a lot of other stuff that isn’t part of dragonkind. But there are a lot of ogres! Not only are there ogres about, but there are factions of ogres. Some have been here the whole time, while others are coming in from the outside world, exploring the ruin themselves. There are also a lot of undead, because they can survive the centuries between the collapse and the now ruin.
But this edition is primarily about those ogre factions. Maybe ogres in your world are simple, stupid creatures and they cannot show any differences. We have a slightly better opinion of them. But sure, some of them are big, dumb monsters, but some of them have just enough smarts to band together, to use what their ancestors left them, and to scrounge what was not intended to be left to them. There are hunters, raiders, thugs, and even cannibals. You might see these factions as tribes, but whatever name you put on them, groups can work together.
If you’re looking for a ton of new ideas, ideas you can easily use in your existing game world or use to craft a new game world, then Small Bites is what you’re looking for. Our goal is to take a subject, whether an archetype, a monster class, or some other FRPG theme and bring you as much content about it as we can. This time the theme is Ogres. While it is primarily focused on The Lost City of Ballogfar, it also includes ogres that are from Ogre Country, meaning outside the ruins and how they interact with their human and dwarven neighbors. We expect that these specific and generic examples will give you enough ideas that should spark your imagination.
This is the “World Walker” edition. The Game Master edition gives you even more, including ideas about campaigns, enemy characters, and world building. We know that whether you are a veteran or a starter, a player or a game master, you are all going to find things you can use - ideas to spark characters, campaigns and game worlds! Come on - You’ve got nothing to lose!
This supplement contains 26 pages of content, compared to the full (GM) version which contains 130 pages. If you haven’t taken a look at our Small Bites before, this is the perfect opportunity to give us a try!
