From publisher blurb:
Friday the 1st of June, 1866. Minor baronet Sir Ashby Phipps, a robust and even-tempered man of some fifty summers, was found dead four days ago in his garden, a look of unimaginable terror on his face. Can this really be a simple case of heart failure?
This is a slow-paced, investigation-heavy occult mystery set in Victorian Lincolnshire. It includes extensive notes on the setting which may be useful for running your own scenarios in a similar place and period. The GM's sections include suggestions for adapting the scenario to different eras and settings. It includes nearly 30 handouts.
The Perishing of Sir Ashby Phipps is suitable for one or more players. It is written for the Cthulhu Eternal percentile system, but is compatible with other percentile-based systems. It should be readily adaptable to other systems.
