In The Personality Game one player askes a multiple choice question to a random player. The player asking the question gets a point for correctly predicting what that player will say about themselves. The answering player's playing piece will point in a certain direction based on his answer. That direction leads to one of four different quadrants on a board representing a personality type. At the end of the game, the place where a player's peice ends up indicates their personality. There are also places on the board where players get stuck unless they can get other players to guess a word on a card from that personality type. The stuck player lists examples of the word, without saying the word itself. If they match, they can move on. Other players gain points for matching that word. The first player to score 6 points wins.
