In brief, the tale unfolds thus: A Goblin Boss, known as King Derek, has acquired the heroes through the black market to battle for his pleasure and renown in a treacherous arena of his own making.
The journey may commence following a catastrophic Total Party Kill (TPK) in your own expedition; however, instead of perishing, our heroes have been rescued and are breathing, albeit temporarily.
Having narrowly escaped one dire situation, the heroes now find themselves in another, with little hope of escape. Will they endure, or succumb to the seductive thrill of fighting for sport?
This adventure is suited for those of humble beginnings, low level characters of 1st-2nd level. The story itself is crafted to be an open book, with a myriad of endings possible. Nay, it is even conceivable that our heroes may come to relish their captivity and seek to extend their stay...only time will unveil the true course.
