This is a generic adventure (= not tied to a specific set of rules) in a fantasy environment with a bit of magic.
The party arrives at a village that seems deserted. But at a given time the villagers appear. Not only are they hostile, but there is also something dead about them. Like they are living dead.
The source of this evil deed is found in a castle in the mountains where a lord has been playing with magic and potions.
To fight the lord the team has to find their way through the castle's labyrinth to the top of the tower above the lava pit.
