From the introduction:
The Doom-Stone is a powerful talisman, once possessed by Outworlders one thousand years ago during a particularly bloody incursion into Krull. This stone then fell into the hands of men, who recognized its wickedness & banished it to the site where the First Great War was won – a now crumbling tower near Torunj. Suspended in the highest rungs of this tower & protected by ancient magical wards, it sat undisturbed for centuries.
During the time of this adventure, a wicked & unholy guardian of the great swamp-wastes has disturbed the wards surrounding the Doom-Stone. As fate would have it, the attention of The Beast was drawn & his marauding army of Slayers summoned. Trapped amidst wicked forces in each direction, players must quickly uncover their adversaries &
decide the fate of Torunj.
