Everything seemed peaceful in Bertebour, a small town nestled at the edge of the Tela’tethadyr forest. The townsfolk were content, enjoying trade with the aos’si fey of the woods. Travelers from all around would visit to spend the night near the fabled “Land of the Fey,” home to the mysterious Courts of Mirasandorhal. But the serenity was shattered several nights ago when a lone woman stumbled into town with nothing but the clothes on her back. She spoke of a demon in the woods who had captured her lover, herself barely managing to escape. However, shortly after her arrival, strange plant-like creatures began emerging from the darkest corners of the town.
Curse of the Pumpkin King is a fall time horror adventure for 5th Edition. It is a mid-levell adventure intended for characters of 7th to 9th level, but a creative Gamemaster can easily scale the adventure for any level with very little prep. Consider this module to be a “one-shot”, four-hour adventure, but your game may vary depending upon play style and the number of players.
