The Reaping Tale

From the introduction:

There are a great many stories that were lost due to no more than the finite limits of human memory. They were told by children who forgot them before supper; they were told by grandparents to babes who were not paying attention; they were thought of by an adult doing tedious work and never told to anyone. The loss of these stories is a tragedy, to be sure, but it is a tragedy like the raw egg dropped on the floor, the flat bicycle tire, and the empty matchbook - unfortunate, but ultimately small and left unmourned.

This game is not about those stories.
