A leader’s wife is poisoned in a failed assassination attempt, and the adventurers are tasked with securing the antidote from a neighboring community. Besides facing the planet’s wild and unpredictable weather, the heroes find themselves hip deep in conspiracy and statecraft as they attempt to complete their mission. Worse, they’re under a time limit as the wife slides inexorably toward death. Can the PCs solve the interlocking problems before the final bell rings on an innocent party?
The Rest Is Silence is a short science fiction adventure using the Cepheus Engine, Cepheus Deluxe, and the Original Science Fiction Roleplaying Game rules. Other 2D6 systems are easily adapted.
