In 1996, TSR published the module named “The Rod of Seven Parts”, First of the Tomes series for high level adventures. It was designed by Skip Williams, and illustrated by Glen Michael Angus, Arnie Swekel, Phillip Robb, Jim Roslof, and Erol Otus. It consisted of 3 booklets, a 16 page book of monsters, and 6 full-color maps and 6 two-sided reference cards. “The Rod of Seven Parts” was the first of the Tome series released and was followed by “The Return to the Tomb of Horrors” by Bruce Cordell and Axe of the Dwarvish Lords also by Skip Williams. This conversion guide allows DM’s to run the original module with 5th Edition rules and provides a reference sheet for numbered entries detailing the converted encounters and traps.
