The Sword Coast is the home of Waterdeep, the most influential and prominent city of the North of Faerun. Our adventurers are beginning to uncover of a plot to overthrow the government and spread chaos throughout all of Faerun. In the last adventure, they successfully defeated a thieves' guild known as Les Coquillards. This criminal organization was working for the corrupt General Dragonsbane, head of the Crown's Guard.

In this part of the Sword Coast Coup, our adventurers embark on a mission to uncover enough evidence to bring forward to the Open Lord of Waterdeep, Laerel Silverhand. But in order to do so, they must confront the Black Skies, a pirate crew led by Captain Gallowcast, a fearsome Githyanki warlock. First, our heroes are going to have to get their hands on a ship and a crew to ferry them across the Sea of Swords. And the open waters are treacherous, full of deadly weather and even deadlier creatures. Will our heroes even make it to their confrontation with the Black Skies? And if they do, will they succeed in defeating this notoriously ruthless pirating group? Roll for Initiative because we're about to find out!
