This cavern is home to Severna Kron—a narcissistic sorcerer with dreams of taking over the world. Severna has built a following of undesirable creatures. These zealots will do what Severna wants, without question, in the hopes that they will be rewarded.
Most adventurers recognize Severna as just another fraud, much as Nubius was, and simply ignore the sorcerer. Among Severna’s possessions, however, is the staff of rosenwood. It is an item with remarkable magical power and a tempting prize for adventurers willing to take the chance.
This side quest is designed so that a game master can run it with little to no preparation. It is scaled for four 4th-level characters.
