Our tale opens in the eastern lands of Xadia, where magic and elves live in harmony. Hostile humanity lies a few miles to the west, on the other side of The Border. Recently Viren has invaded these lands, but you are here because of a troubled Moonshadow city known as The Hollow Wood—a circular town with an outer ring of bustling trade and an inner ring containing an enchanted glade.
