The Temple of Bhaal is a "one-shot" adventure designed to last a single session of about 3 or 4 hours, for 1st level characters. The adventure has a Gothic horror theme, and would be ideal as a game to run for Halloween, which is just around the corner.
The party investigates the disappearance of an order of clerics inside a haunted temple and discover a hidden crypt beneath that is dedicated to three evil deities associated with murder, pain and poison. They must stop an evil ritual taking place there, and destroy a vengeful spirit before it is too late...
