Greek mythology tells of a hero named Odysseus who used wax earplugs and a rope to survive hearing the song of the sirens without being drowned. In The Temptation of Siren, players push their luck to be the first to build sets. On each turn, players may turn over as many Singing Voice cards as they like from the deck and add them to a lineup. Each card contains two sections of color, and a player's turn ends if a fourth matching section of color appears in the lineup. A player may stop at any time and take as many cards as they like from the lineup, as long as they do not have more than three matching sections of color in their area.
Players may trade in their cards for one of the three visible Singing Voice Points cards after or instead of drawing, but not before. The Singing Voice Points cards require different combinations and numbers of color sections, with more challenging combinations being worth more points. The first player to collect 15 points worth of Singing Voice Points cards wins.
