In the winter of 1982, a twelve-man research team at a remote Antarctic outpost discover an alien buried in the snow for over 100,000 years.
Soon unfrozen, the form-changing alien wreaks almighty havoc.
This set of 54 cards is the second expansion for The Thing, and offers two new Tasks for the outpost crew to work upon. The Thing player also gains four 'attacking Thing' cards to harm the team with, and provide additional nasty surprises. Numerous new weapon and skill cards to confront the chilling, inhuman threat are included.
A clutch of new cards also aim to subtly tip off the human players as to "who's human, and who's a thing," as well as force the El Capitan and others to make further unpleasant decisions.
This expansion contains no new rules or decks of cards. All of the cards fit into existing decks.
