Description

From the Hook:

The adventurers are approached by a hunched and robed man, his features hidden in a deep cowl. He smells of damp socks, coughs every other breath, and has a nasally voice.

"Bold adventurers," says he. "I am a poor merchant down on his luck, but today fortune has smiled on us all. In my hand I have a map, showing the location of an ancient and long abandoned temple. Inside rests a statue of no import, with huge jewels for eyes!" He holds out a water-stained and crumpled scroll, the faint lines of a crude map showing through the thin parchment. "In return for a share of the sale of these jewels, I would ask that you go to this temple, retrieve the jewels and bring them back to me. Then we will all be rich, and fortune shall smile upon me once more."

The map shows the location of a small ruin in a nearby swamp, no more than a couple of days journey.

Adventure awaits! What are you waiting for?
