Greetings adventurers and Game Masters!

I am happy to announce the release of the tenth adventure in my Old School Series, THE TOR OF BONES! This undead themed one-shot scenario is intended for 4 to 6 novice adventurers of levels 2 to 4. The adventure in this scenario takes place within the mountains near the hill dwarf village of Ben Gabha, in the Fortis province in the nation state of The Imperium. In this scenario your treasure-hunting players will be exploring a two-level dungeon delve full of the angry and resentful spirits of ancient druids, whose once noble souls have, sadly, become corrupted over the eons. Their rage having transformed them into vile undead, they care nothing for the life force they once cherished and now seek only to extinguish life. If your players can put these fiends to rest, their forgotten treasures are ripe for the taking!

Synopsis: Within a prominent peak the ancient druids founded a large underground complex, built above the gravesite of one of the greatest of their order, the Grandmaster Arten Darragh. This place became one of their most holy shrines, known to the druids as the Necropolis of Darragh. It was abandoned after becoming heavily flooded in terrible storms brought on by cataclysmic events long ago, but its burial vaults remain. These days it is overrun by wandering creatures who have found their way inside and the dead buried beneath it, some of whom have grown angry and discontented over the eons.

The common folk who later settled this area have mostly forgotten about the druids who once shepherded this land, and their stronghold. Their folk tales speak of an ancient place of power high in the mountains, but they have generally avoided the place out of superstition and fear. Over the years the locals came to call this place the Tor of Bones, and legends about it grew, claiming the tor is a place of evil and all those who enter risk both their lives and their eternal souls. Luckily, this means its treasure is likely to be undisturbed! For in addition to being a burial place for their honoured dead, the nature priests also used the complex as a vault for storing their knowledge and treasures.

Intrigued by the promise of untapped riches, your group has decided to test your mettle beneath the tor. Good luck!
