The Tortoise & The Hare

The Tortoise & The Hare is a solo push-your-luck game for children. It is based on Aesop's Fable about a race between a slow and steady Tortoise, and a quick yet careless Hare.

This game uses a Blackjack style push-your-luck mechanism. You play as the Hare and race through a town along a track with numbered spaces. Each turn you draw cards and add up the numbers on them to determine how far you move your Hare pawn.

Move as quickly as you can to reach the end of the racetrack before the Tortoise. Move too quickly however, and you will Trip and miss your turn!

The racetrack also contains several hazard spaces that will slow you down if you land on them.
