Pledged to the Allfather
A one-eyed warrior stands surrounded by the chaos of battle. Unphased by the threats around her, she draws her spear, makes a calculated toss into thin air, and it disappears from sight. Her companions scoff, “what good is a spear that doesn’t hit?”, but she smiles, knowing what sets her ahead of the others, the gift of knowledge and superior planning. Moments later, the spear finds its target with a burst of radiant light, as if predetermined to do so.
Fighters who follow the path of the Watcher seek to emulate the Allfather, Odin, in their careful planning and journey towards knowledge. More devoted than most, these fighters give part of themselves to peer into the arcane and control the battlefield with their profound knowledge. To give oneself to the pursuit of knowledge is the ultimate goal of the Watchers, and in return the gifts of Odin are plentiful.
