Four are the ways of elemental affinity: the Way of Air, the Way of Fire, the Way of Earth and the Way of Water. These four monastic traditions teach their followers to be like their element, to learn from it. Although many follow these traditions and study their teachings, few are the ones who develop an elemental affinity strong enough to be able to control their element at will.

In The Ways of Elemental Affinity, you will find four monk subclasses inspired by the world of Avatar: The Last Air Bender. Each subclass has a unique flavor in- and outside of combat that support different playing styles. The Way of Air is about evasion and movement; the Way of Earth is about controlling the terrain; the Way of Fire is pure offensive energy; and the Way of Water is adaptable.
