As the exception that proves the rule, the miracle substance known as Zero-Friction Solution, typically known as ZFS, came about by accident, a byproduct formed as part of research into another invention entirely.ZFS eliminates virtually all friction between surfaces it is applied to. This renders the surface smoother than wet, polished ice for a short time. Nothing coming into contact with the surface can gain traction; thus, a vehicle can’t move under its power, and a person can’t stand upright or move across the surface without an outside force exerted upon them. Similarly, once an object is in motion across a frictionless surface, it can’t stop without an exterior force affecting it. ZFS does not eliminate exterior influences such as air resistance.
