From publisher blurb:
Ephrion IV is a world forgotten by the high lords of the galaxy, an untamed planet where evolution has run rampant. Its surface is dominated by colossal beasts – megafauna –creatures the size of cities, each one deadlier than the last. The people who live here, the Zenith, have adapted over centuries, growing in strength and cunning, blending their technology with the primal forces of the wild. No outsider ventures to Ephrion IV without a specific purpose, and fewer still leave unscathed. The United Corporations of the Rim are here for one thing: a rare mineral called Nahalite, found only in the bones of the planet’s ancient creatures. But extracting it has become a dangerous gamble, and they've sent you, a seasoned operative with a specific skill set, to broker a deal with the Zenith leaders – or eliminate them. The jungle itself is hostile, but the true threat lies in the balance of power between the Zenith tribes, who control the beasts like gods among men. Caught between corporate greed and indigenous survival, the mission isn't clear-cut. You must navigate political intrigue, deadly fauna, and powerful, primal technology. Trust is in short supply here, and betrayal is a constant shadow. But one thing is certain: whatever steps you take in the jungles of Ephrion IV, the ground shakes beneath your feet – and the beasts are always watching.
