Description

From publisher blurb:

At least some of the world's great powers and private corporations have re-engaged in a new space race. This time the conquest of space is economically driven, enabled by a confluence of events and technologies including the falling price of getting to low Earth orbit and the use of 3D printing and in-situ resource utilization to enable factories to be constructed at extraterrestrial claims.

The re-emergence of nuclear power as a popular power generation alternative to renewables enables megawatt-scale rockets to explore the solar system with greater range that conventional chemical rockets, either by directly heating propellant or by powering highly fuel efficient electric rocket engines capable of long range missions to the outer reaches of the solar system.

And humans in space matter. The complex technological overheads required for a crew module would not be needed if having humans in space was not an important component of the new space race. But with humans comes politics, and the complexities of establishing claims, running colonies and policing the solar system.

This Space Intentionally is a 315 page supplement for theSixty Years In Space TTRPG and includes Mission, Site, Colony, Encounter and Spacecraft designers that allow you to determine where and how you will travel next and to build destinations for already industrialized sites throughout the solar system.
