This app is not required to play the tabletop game – using it is voluntary and introduces some new, alternative ways of resolving game rules and some level of convenience.
Scavenge
The Scavenge screen in this app introduces two optional functions: the Timer and the Noise Detector. Before each Scavenging decide if you wish to use the timer or not.
Resolving the Scavenging phase with the Timer will limit the time for exploration to 180 seconds, but in return, you will be awarded a randomly generated reward. There are many rewards available, some are very rare. Using a Timer in your playthrough introduces entirely new emotional layer - we encourage you to test and decide if this mode suits you.
The Noise Detector is an additional function of the app that serves only to make your playthrough even more varied and emotional. Once the Noise Detector has been activated in the app it will measure the noise level generated by the players. Once it detects that it is too high a pop-up window will be displayed with a message: "Roll for Noise".
Lockpick
Lockpick mini-game is an alternative way for resolving the attempt of unlocking the Closed Door. Whenever you are about to pick a lock, decide if you will use the basic rule (roll a Black die) or the alternative one (Lockpick mini-game).
