Mistaken for aquatic elementals, thozeran are creatures of myth and legend. Universally, aquatic races share stories of the reefs that walk. These benign aquatic shepherds are the guiding hands in stories of the young, voices of wisdom in fables woven through the fabric of aquatic tales. Yet few creatures have ever encountered these legendary humanoids.
Native to tropical waters, thozerans are a race of amble aquatic coral found throughout the seas. In their youth, they are perpetual wanderers, in constant journeys of exploration to the far reaches both below and above the waves.
Though their numbers are small, the impact of their existence is great. Their bodies form the hearts of coral reefs throughout the oceans. They are the shepherds of ocean creatures, the scales of the natural balance beneath the waves.
