Three Arrows

Game ID: GID0355777
Collection Status
Description

Three Arrows can be played by 2, 3, or 4 players. The object of the game is to capture as many of your opponents' Arrow Pieces as possible.

The board is a 6x6 grid. A player's basic pieces have arrows on them. Players place their pieces on the board or attack with those pieces. A player's first piece can be played on the edge but not the corners of the board. Subsequent pieces are placed adjacent to the player's existing pieces on one of the squares pointed to by their arrows.

The attack strength of a piece, or line of pieces, is the number of arrows pointing at the target piece. To make an attack, nominate a target, add your base attack strength to a die roll (-1,0,+1) and compare it to the defence strength. The losing piece is removed. If the attacker wins they may move the attacking piece into the now empty space, rotating it if they wish.

Pieces may be placed with shields to delay an attack and/or covers to hide their type and strength.
