In the land of Yamato an evil shogun transforms himself into the immortal demon Zanshin. Zanshin unleashed his horde across Yamato to destroy the opposing clans, however he calls back his army before the last daimyō is killed. The daimyō sends his last seven surviving samurai to destroy Zanshin.
The player controls the last of the surviving samurai in this Diablo like adventure in a Fantasy-Japanese setting.
