An abstract game of invading and securing territory using standard pieces that move with different ranges depending on the pieces around them when they are placed, or first moved, on a turn. With experience, it is dynamic, sharp and tactical.
The game starts with 3 stones on the board. Each turn consists of 2 moves. Pieces are normally added at the beginning of each move; but existing pieces can be moved, instead, to achieve an extended range of movement. Replacement-capture may be made during placement.
There is a natural tension between using moves to spread out one's pieces, or to increase one's future range of movement from a specific point; or to create barriers to the opponent's expansion or to limit his range of throw.
