The Timex Sinclair 1500 was a development of the Timex Sinclair 1000. It remained 100% compatible with the ZX81. The main changes were an integrated 16KB RAM (compared to 2KB in the Timex Sinclair 1000 and 1KB in the original ZX81) and a rubber chiclet keyboard similar to that used in the ZX Spectrum. The case was silver rather than the usual black.
