Tip simulates the well known Soccer-Toto sweepstakes. Instead of 12 real soccer games, 12 rounds of Tip card game are played.
There are 96 cards in total:
- 28 x "1" (7 cards in red, yellow, blue and green)
- 28 x "X" (7 cards in red, yellow, blue and green)
- 28 x "2" (7 cards in red, yellow, blue and green)
- 7 x "V", black/dark yellow coloured
- 4 x "Combi", each with 3 of the 4 colours above
- 1 x "Trick" with all 4 colors
Each player plays is dealt 10 cards and then secretly writes down his tip (1, x or 2). During play, each player tries to collect a winning hand, which consists of 1 set of 4 and 2 sets of 3 cards.
Points can be won for having the winning hand as well as for having marked the correct tip.
At the end of the 12 rounds, the total number of correct tips are summarized and a last payout of points takes place.
The player with the most points is the winner of the game.
