Cartoon cat and/or mouse brawl through eight levels of this colorful side-scrolling fighter based on the 2002 direct-to-video release of the same name.
The basic premise, which sure sounds borrowed from Japanimation classic Alakazam the Great, has Jerry unable to remove a mysterious ring he's stuck on his head. Much slapsticky mayhem ensues, with Tom or Jerry (either is playable) swinging bats or tossing eggs, plates and other household items at enemies.
Both Tom and Jerry can leap on sofas, fireplace mantles and other platforms in the background.
Bosses include a plate-throwing matron. Spike, Nibbles, Butch and other familiar Tom and Jerry characters make appearances.
