Titeuf is inspired by the eponymous comic strip, created by the Swiss author Zep. The game would probably be inspired by the worlds of Mario Party, released in 1999 for the Nintendo 64 console, and South Park.

On the selection screen, two game modes are available: “La mega compet” (a board game simulator with mini-games) and “Express recreation” (which allows the player to play the mini-games directly of the first mode). At the start of the “La mega compet” level, the player can choose between four characters: Titeuf, Manu, Hugo and Nathalie. Once the character has been selected, the player takes part in 21 mini-games (or trials) which vary between games of hide and seek and urination on a bicycle; each successful test allows you to win a piece of a poster of Kevin Lover, the idol of Nadia (a friend of Titeuf). In the game, each character moves in turn, like a board game , on boxes of different colors: white, green and yellow. The white squares contain mini-games, the green squares puzzle pieces and the yellow squares contain the possibility of replaying.
