Created in the Landes region (Aquitaine) just over 60 years ago, Toroball represents both the Landes' sense of humor and their relationship with festivities.
Each summer, at small village Ferias, a sort of temporary arena is set up, and on Sunday mornings, after little sleep, youngsters throw themselves into the arena in colored jerseys and play soccer like everyone else. it's just that there's a cow lurking in the middle.
Gameplay: Each player in turn moves his 3 Sunday sportsmen and women. They'll try to hit the ball in the direction of the opponent's goal, attract the cow to their opponents and, above all, avoid taking a nasty charge. The cow always moves towards the nearest target.
The first team to score two goals wins!
