A fast paced action packed motor racing board game based on the Australian V8 Supercar series.
Simulating all the realism of V8 Supercar racing, players will need to manage all aspects of their car, know when to use fuel, push hard and jostle for position risking damage to the car. Successful management of fuel, engine condition, tyre wear and brakes is necessary to win the race.
Players must first setup their car correctly. A wise choice is needed, because once the car is setup, it cannot be changed! Each setup will determine how fast the car can move around the circuit for each gear. Careful analysis of the circuit will help decide the correct setup.
Drivers then qualify for pole position and then race begins.
During the race each driver decides what gear the car should be in for their turn moves as per their chosen setup while making some important race winning (or losing) decisions:
Should I use extra fuel now and push hard?
Should take this corner faster than recommended and wear my tyre quicker?
Will I be able the slow down in time to take the next corner?
How confident is my driver right now, do I have enough confidence to avoid any nasty instances?
Do I need to pit this lap or can make it around one more time?
