Basil the Earless is one of the most misterious figures in the Duchy of the Ashen Lake. Some say he’s a wizard and some say he’s a constructor. Others would argue that he’s the most capable and deranged alchemist the Duchy ever had. But soon enough all those drunkard’s rumours and coward’s gossips will be put to the test as a group of brave mice adventurers is about to enter the Tower of the Earless.
This location and its short adventure utilizes Mausritter rules and setting created by Isaac Williams. Inspiration for certain parts of this adventure comes from Ben Milton „The Alchemist’s Repose”, Michał Budziński „Sanktuarium Karmazynowych Konstruktorów” and lots of great content created by the Mausritter community. Despite being created with Mausritter in mind, the adventure could be easily hacked and work with other OSR systems. The challenge and the difficulty level the adventure presents to the PCs is easily adjustable – provided stats and quantities of adversaries are merely a suggestion to a GM.
