Race against your opponent to transmute metals, complete quests, and utilize powerful Zodiacs. When the last Planet card is claimed, only one alchemist can be victorious and join the Hermetic Circle!
Transmute is a competitive, shared deck card game. Core gameplay revolves around a 5-suited deck. Four of the suits represent the classical elements fire, water, earth, and air, while the fifth suit - aether - allows for special effects in the game.
Each round begins by setting a target number and element that both players will try to match using the element cards in their hands. When a player matches the target, they can transmute those elements into different metals that are worth points at the end of the game.
In addition to transmutation, players can complete quests to receive bonuses and play Zodiac cards with unique effects that can change the course of the game.
