Maybe your party want to enter a long-lost tomb in a bid to retrieve a valuable artifact or maybe they just stumbled across a tomb entrance that has been hidden from sight for hundreds of years. However they got to this point, as they stand before the entrance they will probably be feeling two contrary emotions as they look down into the darkness. The overpowering feeling will be a strong desire to explore the tomb to see what secrets it holds but this will be tempered a little by a fear of what unknown dangers the dark may hold.
Their nerves will maybe grow even more 'on edge' as they remember tales of how the ancient civilizations would protect their dead, and the treasures buried with them, with a varied assortment of deadly traps, fiendish puzzles and devious tricks.
This tomb contains fifteen such 'tomb-raider deterrents' (magical and mechanical) that can used in any home-brew tomb or temple.
