"Pirate Adventure Game. These is a very simple game for play on beach or in backyard, with plastic toy soldiers. The focus is on a fast-action game, easy to learn and easy to play. Our game is for small battles, only - with forces of 100 men or less on each side."
There are fourteen types of characters specified in the rules. These include pirates ("the heroes of our game"), tow militia, the Navy, Marines, Moors, Conquistadors, Privateers, Indians, South Pacific Natives, and Samurai.
There are seven types of ranged weapons specified in the rules: Long Rifle, Pistol, Musket, Bow, Cannon, Light Cannon, and thrown weapons (spear, hatchet, tomahawk, marlinspike, etc.) Each weapon is rated for range, damage, and rate of fire.
Concepts covered in the rules include boarding, prisoners, ports, treasure, and the effect of tides and wind on boats. Campaign suggestions are also included.
