Trick Tac Toe

Trick Tac Toe is a 10 card microgame where two players play for best two out of three tricks in order to claim a space on the board. You could concede early, giving your opponent the space, but then you get to control the next spot to play for.

There are no suits, but a simple rule twist where the 1 can beat the highest three cards makes each situation a bit of a threat. Once a player hits three in a row or wins five of the spaces on the board, the game has ended.
