"Triptych" is a fancy term referring to three like things, originally relating back to 15th-century art pieces — a set of three associated works intended to be appreciated together. Today, the word is used more broadly and includes any three pieces of art observed in sequence, such as three musical works or even a series of three videos.
Triptych is a fast-paced matching game. The object is to discover groups of three cards (Triptychs) that share identical or complementary aspects. When you see a Triptych, be the first player to tap those three cards and shout "Trips!" If you're right, collect the group of cards. If players cannot find a Triptych, the dealer will add more cards, three at a time, until a player can identify a Triptych.
When no more matches can be made, the player with the most cards wins!
